Hi Guys!
How’s it goin’? It’s me, Alfred. Yeah, the King himself… I know it’s been a while. But, sometimes life just overwhelms you.
Guys, I’ve been meanin’ to tell you about my trip back to our North Carolina farm where my Moms and I lived after we got back from Africa in 2011.
Guys, I knew somethin’ was getting ready to happen when my Moms kept talking to me softly and packing up the bags. When I saw her get my back-up litter box and take it out the house I knew I was next to go out the house. But, my Moms slipped me a cat Valium. I tried to spit it out. But, before I knew it that little bitter pill was sliding down my throat.
The Valium really helped guys. Look how calm, cool and collected I look riding in the front seat next to my Moms. Unbelievable, right? I know I look a little mad ’cause my Moms put me in the car. But, all in all I’m holdin’ my own.
You see we went to the Homestead because my Moms had our floors in the DC townhome redone and no one could walk on them – even me!
We stayed two nights. I was good. I remembered the place. It was good to check up on the farm.
But, I was glad when my Moms put me back in the car to go back to Washington, DC. I had to have another Valium. And, when I got home I didn’t feel good and barfed on my Moms’ pillow.
All that Valium and traveling was just too much for me.
