Guys- Today is 3 Kings Day!
And for my friends back in Equatorial Guinea and other Spanish-speaking brothers: Feliz Dia de los Reyes!
Well, all this holiday hoopla is finally come to an end. Today, my Moms and I will have a Rosca de Reyes from the local Mexican tienda, and we’ll finish our Christmas celebration.
I’m still enjoying my Christmas gifts. I got so many gifts from my Grandmoms that my Moms couldn’t bring them all back in her suitcase. So, my Grandmoms is shipping them to me. But, don’t worry. I’ll tell you all about my Christmas booty once my gifts arrive!
Moms is so sure she’s going to have good luck and money in 2012 because she had black-eyed peas and greens on New Year’s Day. Moms’ radio journalist friend made a special dinner they eat way down in Alabama with sweet potatos and all.
Moms didn’t bring any home to me because she knows I don’t do vegetables unless they come with F-R-I-E-D C-H-I-C-K-E-N-!!
But, I hope I have good luck and money in 2012, just like my Moms. And I hope you Guys have some, too.
Although I’m sad to see all the fun and celebrations come to an end I’m looking forward to all the new adventures my Moms and I will have. I hope you guys will be keep reading my posts and givin’ me encouragement during my ups and downs. As my Auntie Joyce always says – things keep happening to me.
Stay tuned for more advertures in 2012 and may the light of Christmas shine through your year!
