Sorry I haven’t written. I’ve been helping my Moms get out the vote. Guys – last week, we were in North Carolina where my Moms is registered to vote. We passed out party and candidate literature. I mean my Moms was. I can’t pass out literature. Not yet. But, I’m working on it. Moms spent most of her time at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) law school. So many people who walked by my Moms last week had already voted. Moms and I were impressed. We think things will go well!
At the Hyattsville town home, I’ve been helping my Moms make calls to newly registered NC voters in Wake County. You know – getting them to vote early or making sure they know where to vote on election day. Moms gets the numbers and information mixed up. Sometimes I have to jump in on the call and get the info straight. I mean Moms has a script she’s supposed to follow and each call entry has the location of the polling site and all. But, calling so many people can be a lot and sometimes she just needs me to step in and do the talking for her.
So, today’s the big day, guys! You’re the last people I have to tell to go out and vote. I wish I could go with you to the polls and help you out like I did my Moms. But, I know you can do it!
P.S. Doesn’t this picture look like me? Well, it’s not. It’s from People Pets!
