Guys, guess what happened to me last week-end?
My Moms had a birthday party for me. Can you believe it?! I turned 6.
I was so excited. I mean Moms forgot my birthday last year. I didn’t have a 5th birthday party. That part of my life is gone forever. Forgotten. Outta the picture. I’ve got no birthday picture memories of a whole year in my life.
So, when the door bell rang and my Cousin Caroline was at the door for my birthday party I was so happy. I came down and greeted her and her friend like a real gentleman. They were impressed with my decorum. I was impressed with myself, too.
Then my Cousin Nicole arrived, and I came down the stairs to greet her, too.
“Hi Alfred! Happy Birthday!” Cousin Nicole announced.
Yeah, Baby!
The evening was all about me. Me and only me. My Moms got me a little baby cheesecake. Remember my 4th birthday, guys, when Moms got me half a chocolate cake that wasn’t even enough for me and my guests? What kinda cake was that? This time Moms improved and got me a whole cake.
Okay. It was a really small cake, but at least I got a whole cake instead of some kind of rip off half of a cake.
Moms also got me my favorite ice cream – Talenti gelato. Okay, it’s really Moms’ favorite. Everyone had a nice time. Guys, my 6th birthday was great.
This week-end Moms left me home alone for a night to go to one of her board meetings in Durham. But, I was fine. I mean after such a great birthday party the other week-end how I could I be mad?
